Had a wonderful English Breakfast at Cat & Cucumber's. It was nice to start our first day in London in a traditional way, surrounded by other Londoner's. The worker at the desk was very friendly and provided us with whatever needed. Breakfast was served quickly as well. Tea with milk was such a reminder of my youth. Thank you for being part of our London experience.

Been eating there since 1994. Good food, good size portions and great value for money for Central London. Haven't been in there for a long while but glad to see it's still there. That bacon looks good. Must find an excuse to swing by soon for a full English and a big mug of tea with 4 sugars!

Welcome to The Cat & Cucumber Cafe, a delightful eatery nestled at 182 Tower Bridge Rd in London, SE1 2AD. This cafe serves not only as a culinary retreat but also as a charming slice of the local community, where the aroma of freshly prepared meals meets the warmth of British hospitality.

The Cat & Cucumber Cafe stands out for its traditional English breakfasts that invoke a sense of nostalgia in both locals and travelers alike. With its special set breakfast featuring a full English for just £13.90, patrons are treated to a hearty meal that includes the quintessential staples: eggs, sausage, bacon, and beans—all cooked to perfection.

Whether you're starting your day or enjoying a leisurely lunch, the menu offers a variety of irresistible sandwiches such as the classic Egg & Bacon (£4.40) and the more adventurous B.L.T. (£4.30). The cafe prides itself on the quality of its offerings, evident from customer reviews:

For those craving something lighter, the jacket potatoes with fillings like Chilli Con Carnie (£5.50) and Tuna (£7.70) add a dash of comfort food that’s both satisfying and filling. The cafe’s commitment to quality ingredients and generous portions has earned it a loyal following. As PORRIDGE_GUN mentions, “Good food, good size portions and great value for money for Central London.”

The atmosphere is as inviting as the menu. Visitors often note the friendly staff who make you feel right at home, enhancing the overall dining experience. Clean facilities are an additional bonus, as good hygiene standards are a rarity among city cafes. Oliver Wright, a regular, chimes in with praises for the cafe's “Best old skool cheeseburger” that packs flavor into every bite.
